Enugu State Association of New England Cancels 2011 Christmas Party to Honor Paul Egesionu
The Enugu State Association of New England (ESA) has canceled its Christmas party previously scheduled for December 10, 2011. In a statement made available to the public on Saturday November 5, 2011, ESA President, Mr. Dave Aduba said the cancelation became necessary to allow the good people of Enugu join other members of the Igbo community in paying last respects to their compatriot, Mr. Paul Egesionu who was assassinated in Nigeria. According to Chief Aduba, the people of Enugu are terribly aggrieved by this painful loss and join the Egesionu family and the Igbo community in mourning the departed.
The President and his cabinet regret the inconvenience this cancelation will cause the friends and well wishers of Enugu.
