Mecha Wins Big in Randolph Election!

Former Vice President of IONE and Randolph resident, Hon. Emmanuel Mecha, is regarded as the “one eye” which the Igbo people have in Randolph town government. Since shooting into limelight in Randolph politics two years ago, Mecha has worked tirelessly as a member of the school committee to improve the quality of education in the Randolph school system. His hard work was recognized by Randolph residents. This recognition resulted in an easy re-election on Tuesday November 8, 2011 when the town voted overwhelmingly to return the trailblazer for another two years.

The presence of Emma Mecha in Randolph politics has been a huge blessing for ndiigbo. For many years, ndiigbo sought to acquire a piece of property to be used as Igbo House. This dream was made a reality through the assistance of Emma Mecha. This was why he was dubbed the proverbial “one eye: with which ndiigbo are seeing in Boston politics. This also explains why ndiigbo dedicated themselves to helping re-elect Emma Mecha for a second term.

Following his landslide victory, ndiigbo gathered at the Igbo House to toast to this worthy son. A few officials from the Randolph government also joined in the celebration. It was a fun fest filled with laughter, merriment and a heightened spirit of camaraderie. Speaking at the Victory party, Mecha thanked ndiigbo for their support and promised to do more for the town of Randolph and ndiigbo. He also paid tribute to his wife, Susan Mecha, whom he said got him involved in politics in the first place. “Without her, we would not be where we are today”, said the proud politician.

    My hearty CONGRATULATIONS goes to
Honorable Emma Mecha and his Randolph
    constituency/supporters.

Without any doubt, it was a forgone conclusion that
Hon. Mecha was going to win a landslide in his re-election
bid because of the marvelous job he’s doing for his constituency.

The question in contest was not if Hon. Mecha will win his re- election bid –
the question was the margin — Hon. Mecha was going to beat his three other opponents.

Once again, congratulations!– Please bear with me that I cannot
make it to your celebration party tonight.

    Yrs.
    Ichie Emma. Nkem Okafor
